This Kerman rug handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.

It features a central medallion floating above an open turquoise ground and framed by a large and elegant border. The medallion and border are both composed of beautifully detailed floral sprays in pastel pinks, reds, seafoam green, copper, and gold and khaki. 

In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Medium pile, with a heavy handle. Wool is incredibly soft and shiny (making it hard to photograph!)
